Four pop-up vaccination clinics set for Tuesday in Windsor-Essex

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is offering residents several chances Thursday to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

Four pop-up clinics have been scheduled, three in Windsor and one in Kingsville. All clinics will offer first and second doses of the vaccine, along with booster shots.

The International Bus Terminal in downtown Windsor will hold a clinic from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

A second clinic will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Canadian Mental Health Association's Windsor-Essex headquarters on Windsor Avenue near Ellis Street East.

In the afternoon, a third clinic will be held at Connections Family Learning Centre on Giles Boulevard East at Marentette Avenue. It runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In addition to the three pop-up clinics, there will be extended hours Tuesday at the mass clinic at Grovedale House on Park Street in Kingsville. The hours are 11:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Anyone aged five or older is welcome, with no appointment necessary. Children aged five to 11 must be accompanied by a custodial parent or guardian.

Accessibility and transportation support is available. Information can be found on the health unit's official website.
