Outbreak mode lifted at more WRH units

Windsor Regional Hospital has declared the end of COVID-19 outbreaks on more of its units.

The hospital announced Tuesday night that outbreak status has been lifted on all of its affected wards, except for two at the Ouellette Campus, 7-Medical and 3-North.

The outbreaks in those two units are expected to be lifted by the end of the month, as long as there is no further COVID-19 transmission.

As of Tuesday afternoon, 25 people were being treated at Windsor Regional Hospital for COVID-19, with 11 of them admitted with the virus as their chief complaint.
