Suspect arrested in two Tecumseh break-and-enters

A Lakeshore man is facing charges after being connected to at least two January break-ins.

Ontario Provincial Police say both break-and-enters took place on the same day early in the month. The first was on Outer Drive off Talbot Road, and the second was on O'Neil Drive, both in Tecumseh.

Police say two vehicles were stolen and later recovered.

The 52-year-old man is charged with two counts of break-and-enter, two counts of motor vehicle theft, and one count of possession of break-in instruments.

The man is still in police custody pending a bail hearing. The charges have not been proven in court.
