Wednesday night Express game postponed

If you had plans to watch this week's Windsor Express game against the Sudbury Five, you might want to hang on to the tickets.

The team has postponed Wednesday night's game.

The National Basketball League of Canada has postponed that matchup and Sudbury's game on Tuesday night against Kitchener because of COVID-19 isolation protocols impacting the Five.

Both games will be scheduled at a later date.

Friday night's game against the Dayton Flight is still a-go at the WFCU Centre.

The league partnered with The Basketball League in the U.S. for interleague play. Six teams, the Flint United, Lansing Pharaohs, Jamestown Jackals, Kokomo Bobkats, Syracuse Stallions, and the Albany Patroons, are participating.

The NBLC is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, while the TBL is five years old.
