Shots fired in Windsor's west-end

Windsor Police are investigating a shooting on the city's west side early Tuesday morning.

Police were called to Prince Road around Myrtle Avenue around 1 a.m. Residents in the area reported they heard the sound of several gunshots and saw a dark coloured Chevrolet Malibu-type vehicle taking off down Prince Road toward Sandwich Street.

No injuries were reported. The Windsor Police Service Forensic Identification Unit found several spent shell casings on the scene.

Police are asking anyone in the area with surveillance cameras to check their footage for possible evidence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
