Alleged porch pirate caught on camera

Have you ever had a package stolen from the front of your home after it was delivered?

LaSalle Police are looking for a woman accused of stealing two packages from the front porch of a home on Matchette Road.

The incident between Maple Avenue and Golf View Drive was caught on the homeowner's security camera around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police said the video shows the woman getting out of a gold-coloured Dodge Caravan in front of the house, walking up to the front porch, picking up the packages, and leaving. The minivan left northbound on Matchette Road.

The entire incident took no more than a minute.
