Hot tubs stolen from local business

The Ontario Provincial Police is looking to identify two suspects who were caught in the act of stealing a hot tub from a Lakeshore business.

Patrol officers were in the area of Patillo Road around 1:30 a.m. Monday when they saw two men loading a hot tub onto a trailer.  One of the men was wearing red shoes at the time of the theft.

The men took off into a nearby field.

Police determined three Dominion hot tubs and a utility trailer were stolen from the property. The value of the left is between $60,000 and $80,000.

Police are asking anyone who has information regarding this theft to contact the Essex County OPP Major Crime Unit at 519-723-2491.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
