Five displaced, $350K worth of damage due to fire

Windsor Fire and Rescue Service (WFRS) responded to a fire on McEwan Ave on Sunday morning.

The fire department declared the fire out just before 2 p.m.

In an update, WFRS said that there were no injuries, but five people have been displaced due to the blaze.

It was also determined that $350,000 worth of damage has been done.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
