Over 100 jobs up for grabs at job fair

For the first time in two years, the Unemployed Help Centre - Hub of Opportunities is hosting an in-person job fair.

Last month, Windsor's jobless rate was the highest in Canada at 8.3 per cent, and the centre has partnered with Landscape Ontario to fill over 100 positions.

Jobs available include Red Seal apprenticeships, general labourers, landscapers, and more.

Many of the employers taking part will conduct interviews at the job fair, so those who plan on going should bring a resume.

"Many individuals have felt the strains of the pandemic and have been unable to secure consistent employment," said a release from the centre. "Many people in our city are looking and need to find employment to support their families."

The job fair is at the centre's location on Cantelon Drive in Windsor from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
