Best of Windsor-Essex Award winners announced

With over 11,000 votes the Best of Windsor-Essex Awards have been determined.

For the past seven years, Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island has asked the community to vote on their favourite spots in the region. Voting in 48 categories took place between February 14 and March 6.

"We recognize that there have been a lot of setbacks these past two years, along this path to reopening, but there is much to celebrate and recognize in our tourism and hospitality industry” said Gordon Orr, CEO of Tourism Windsor Essex. “Better days for our tourism and hospitality industry are just around the corner and now is the time to start patronizing some of the best tourism businesses of Windsor Essex thanks to this 'must-see list.'”

Point Pelee National Park took home four awards this year, Best Outdoor Attraction, Best Photo-op in the County, Best Beach, and Best Birding Hub.

Armando's is taking home this year's Best Pizza Pie Award.
