Flair offering direct flights from YQG to Montreal & Halifax

Flair Airlines is adding flights at Windsor International Airport to two popular Canadian destinations.

Starting this summer, the airline will fly to Montreal and Halifax twice a week. The airline announced flights from YQG to Tucson, Arizona last week.

"We see this fitting in our model of that really affordable long-weekend kind of travel. This is to prove it out this is, hopefully, the first of many times I come to this conference room to announce new service to Windsor," said Flair Airlines Director Network Planning and Scheduling Eric Tanner.

The carrier is offering direct flights to Montreal for $29. Flights to Halifax cost the same but the flight back to Windsor is $49. Montreal flights are on Thursdays and Sundays and the Halifax flights are on Mondays and Fridays.

"I'm thrilled at the destinations that we're announcing, and obviously I am going to keep banging the drum for more," said YQG CEO Mark Galvin.

The service will start the week of July 7, 2022.
