Tennis court reconstruction at Forest Glade Park starting

Now that the weather is getting warmer work can start to improve the aging tennis courts at Forest Glade Park.

This week, the old tennis courts will be removed and a new surface will be installed. This is expected to take around two weeks.

Following the upgrade of the existing courts, the City of Windsor will be installing six new tennis courts and ten new pickleball courts. This will take about two months to complete.

There will also be new court access points created, new fencing erected, as well as installation of wind and noise blocking mesh.

The park upgrades will cost around $850,000 to complete.

While construction is underway, tennis players are encouraged to visit other parks throughout the city.
