Police investigating shooting

Windsor police are investigating a shooting at a party on the city's west end Saturday.

Police were called the area of Oak Street and College Avenue around 4 a.m. after reports of gunshots. Witnesses reported several vehicles leaving the area immediately after the shooting.

When police arrived, a dark coloured sedan took off from the scene.

Investigators found multiple shell casings in the area. No injuries were reported.

Major Crime Unit investigators are asking anyone with surveillance cameras in the areas of College Avenue to Tecumseh Road West, and Wellington Avenue to Crawford Avenue, to check their footage for possible evidence, between the time period of 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Police say there was a large party at a home on Oak Street and believe someone at the party may have been the intended victim. Investigators are asking anyone who was at the party to contact them.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
