Fire near downtown Windsor displaces 15

Windsor Fire and Rescue said multiple people have been displaced following a building fire near the downtown core Tuesday.

Few details have been released, but crews were called to the building on Wyandotte Street East near Aylmer Avenue.

The cause of the fire was electrical, according to fire officials, but 15 people are looking for a temporary place to stay.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. The damage estimate was at $25,000.

Fire investigators were on the scene until early Tuesday evening.
