DWBIA hosts Spitfire viewing party

There will be a viewing party for the Windsor Spitfire's game in downtown Windsor Wednesday night

The Spitfires take on the Hamilton Bulldogs in Game 7 of the OHL championship series.

The viewing party is being sponsored by the Downtown Windsor BIA, the University of Windsor, Liuna, NXT Level Entertainment, and Element Entertainment.

The winner of Wednesday's game heads to the Memorial Cup championship in Saint John, N.B. next week.

A large LED screen will be set up in City Hall Square, across from Charles Clark Square. Doors open at 6 p.m. The game starts at 7 p.m.  Residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to the event. The viewing is free to attend.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
