Three people displaced after house fire near airport

Windsor fire officials say no one was hurt after a house fire Monday afternoon.

Windsor Fire and Rescue crews were called around 1 p.m. to a working fire at a home on Turner Road near Melinda Avenue, not far from Windsor Airport.

The fire was declared extinguished around 40 minutes later, and a fire investigator was called to the scene to determine how it began.

No injuries were reported, but three people living in the home are in need of a place to stay.

The cause of the fire was declared an accident, with a damage estimate of $240,000.
