LaSalle police seek information on assault at marina

Police in LaSalle are asking the public for help as they investigate an alleged assault.

Few details have been released, but police say it happened on Saturday evening at the marina on Front Road. An adult male was injured in the incident, but there was no word on how serious the injuries were.

Investigators are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have security camera or dashcam footage to share.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
