Police seek help in west Windsor shooting

Windsor police are investigating a weekend incident during which multiple gunshots were fired.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday in the area of Curry Avenue and Martindale Street. Officers were called to the location on a report of gunshots fired.

One home was damaged by gunfire, but there is no evidence that this was a targeted incident, according to Constable Talya Natyshak.

No injuries were reported, but police recovered several spent shell casings in the area.

Any home or business owner in the area with security camera footage should check it to see if there is anything unusual and give police a call if something is seen.

There is no evidence to suggest that this incident is connected to one that took place early Sunday morning in downtown Windsor.
