Charges follow Amherstburg crash

A driver faces charges after a two-vehicle crash in Amherstburg on Thursday.

Paramedics took three people to the hospital after the crash on County Road 18 at the 5th Concession Road South.

The injuries were non-life-threatening.

Windsor Police shut down County Road 18 between 4th Concession Road South and 6th Concession South, and 5th Concession Road South from Alma Road to South Sideroad.

Those roads have reopened.

One person faces disobeying a stop sign and failure to stop charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
