MacDonald named to AMO board for third term

Leamington Mayor Hilda MacDonald has been re-elected to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Board of Directors- Small Urban Caucus.

This will be MacDonald's third term, she was first elected in 2019.

“I am truly honoured to represent Leamington on the provincial stage,” said MacDonald. “I will continue to be a strong voice on issues that matter to municipalities across Ontario, and will ensure Leamington has a strong and productive partnership with our federal and provincial partners.”

Her appointment was announced during the AMO Conference in Ottawa this week.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
