Man dies in crash on E.C. Row

The Windsor Police Service has confirmed the death of a man after a crash on the E.C. Row Wednesday night.

Constable Natalya Natyshak said a motorcycle crashed in the eastbound lanes near Howard Avenue around 7 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the driver suffering life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to the hospital and died a short time later.

He was not identified.

The eastbound E.C. Row was closed for several hours between Dougall Avenue and Howard while investigators from the Traffic Reconstruction Team worked. It reopened early Thursday morning.

Windsor Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash. They can call the Traffic Unit at 519-945-9645 ext. 222.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
