Drouillard and Riverside hosting street festivals

Two neighbourhoods are celebrating this Saturday with street festivals.

The Ford City BIA is hosting Dropped on Drouillard to celebrate the neighbourhood. The festival features food, vendors, a car show, and live music.

The vendors will be set up along Drouillard Road between Trenton Street and Richmond Street. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Olde Riverside Town Centre Business Association is celebrating 100 years of the Riverside community with the Riverside Rocks 100 Festival.

Riverside turned 100 in 2021, but the community was unable to celebrate because of the pandemic.

Wyandotte Street will be closed from Jefferson Boulevard to Ford Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The festival will feature live bands, a DJ, a night market, and lawn games.
