Over 50 citations issued in Windsor enforcement blitz

Windsor police issued myriad enforcement actions against drivers during the latest in a series of enforcement blitzes.

Patrol officers were out on the streets Wednesday conducting various traffic checks. As a result, 51 enforcement actions were issued to drivers.

One of the citations issued was for stunt driving, when the driver was clocked to 106 kilometres per hour in a 50-kilometres-per-hour zone.

Other citations included one for driving while impaired by drug, and one for a driver with multiple licence suspensions.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
