Female suspect identified in Windsor assault case (PHOTOS)

Windsor police are hoping residents can help them identify a pair of suspects in an assault earlier this month.

It happened at around 2 a.m. on August 4. Police say the victim was inside an apartment building on Riverside Drive East near Lauzon Road. A female suspect knocked on the victim's door. Once the victim opened the door, a male suspect who had been hiding suddenly rushed inside.

The male suspect sprayed the victim with a noxious substance and stabbed him several times. The victim was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators have identified one of the suspects. An outstanding warrant has been filed for 35-year-old Jessica St. Louis.

Police are still looking for information on the person in the second photo.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477), to be eligible for a cash reward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
