Pets invited to upcoming microchip clinic in Windsor

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society is holding another microchip clinic.

The drive-thru clinic is open to the public on Wednesday, September 14, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot at Devonshire Mall.

The humane society directs pet owners to follow the blue signs to the southeast corner parking lot near Cineplex Odeon Theatres.

The last microchip clinic was in July, and the humane society said 358 pets came through.

"That's 358 more pets in our region who will be able to be quickly reunited with their families if ever lost," said a release from the humane society.

The cost is $20 per pet, but the clinic accepts cash only.

Dogs, cats, and rabbits are welcome.
