$11K in drugs seized, man charged in Leamington raid

A Leamington man faces multiple charges after Ontario Provincial Police executed a warrant Thursday.

The OPP fulfilled the warrant at a home on Mill Street. Officers recovered and seized fentanyl and cocaine with a total street value of $11,920.

An assortment of stolen property was also recovered, according to Constable Steven Duguay. On the list of recovered items was an e-bike, and optical equipment such as binoculars and an optical scope.

A 47-year-old man has been charged with possession of cocaine and fentanyl with intent to sell, and two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000.

The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect has been held for a show cause hearing in a Windsor court.
