Almost half a kilometre of asphalt will be replaced on the multi-use trail within the park, connecting it to the sidewalk along Roseville Garden Drive.
The trail will be closed for six weeks.
The playground and sports field will also close during the day while crews work. They'll reopen at the end of the workday and on weekends.
The baseball diamonds next to the park won't be impacted.
The work should finish by the end of November.
