Adopt a cat for any cost

If you're looking to adopt a cat, now may be a perfect time.

For two days, the Windsor Essex Humane Society is hosting a Choose Your Own Adoption Fee event for all cats and kittens.

Applications will be accepted online starting at 12:01 a.m. Friday until 11:59 p.m. Saturday. Interested adoptees can also visit the adoption centre from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Adoptions from the humane society usually cost between $92.50 and $180. Before being adopted all felines are spayed or neutered, given a microchip, are up to date with vaccines, and have been given a parasite treatment.

All pets available for adoption are on the humane society's website.
