UPDATE: West end house fire causes $250K in damage

Damage is being estimated at $250,000 after a house fire in Windsor's west end.

Firefighters were called an upgraded working fire on Bridge Avenue near Wyandotte Street around 7:40 a.m. on Monday.

Fire crews conducted ventilation and overhaul.

Around 9 a.m., Windsor fire tweeted the fire was out and that an investigator was attending the scene.

There were no injuries and no people were displaced.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
