Man charged in historical sexual assault

A Tecumseh man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation against two minors.

In September 2022, the Major Crimes Unit launched an investigation following a report of a historical sexual assault. Officers then identified a second victim. Both victims were under the age of 16 at the time of the alleged incidents.

Malcolm Campbell, 83, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and sexual exploitation.  The charges have not been proven in court.

To protect the identity of the victims, police are not releasing any further details in the case.
