Man performs indecent act in east end

The Windsor Police Service is looking for a suspect who committed an indecent act on the city's east end Wednesday morning.

Around 8:15 a.m., a woman reported exercising in the area of Litter River Road near the Little River Pollution Control Plant when she noticed a man in the wooded area making lewd gestures. The woman moved to a new location, and the man followed her and committed an indecent act.

The woman left the area but said the man continued to follow her.

The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-year-old male, white, average height, wearing a grey zip-up hooded sweater and baggy black pants.

Investigators are asking anyone in the area with video surveillance cameras to check the footage for possible evidence. Anyone with information should contact the Major Crime Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), or online at www.catchcrooks.com.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
