Parking lot improvements coming to Elizabeth Kishkon Park

The City of Windsor has started parking lot improvements in a popular east-end park and is warning residents of an important closure.

The parking lot at Elizabeth Kishkon Park on Banwell Road will be closed for the next six weeks during repaving. New curbs and catch basins are also being added.

Those who use the park are advised to exercise caution near the construction area and park their vehicles on nearby streets where permitted.

It also recommends using another park in the ward, including Cora Greenwood Park on Little River Boulevard, Stillmeadow Park on Stillmeadow Road, or East Riverside Park on McNorton Street.

The work in Elizabeth Kishkon Park should finish by December 5.
