Windsor police investigate crash near school

Windsor police are looking into a collision that took place near an east-end elementary school.

Few details have been released, but officers were called to Wildwood Drive in Forest Glade shortly after 2 p.m. Friday. near H.J. Lassaline Catholic Elementary School.

Witnesses reported on social media that the crash involved a motorcycle and a van.

Windsor Fire and Rescue were on the scene along with paramedics, but there has been no official word on any injuries.

The scene was cleared just before 5 p.m.

It was the second crash in Windsor that involved a motorized bike within 24 hours. A 33-year-old man died Thursday after a motorcycle crash in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Kildare Avenue.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
