Giant Tiger opens in Windsor's west end (VIDEO)

Fans of discount retailer Giant Tiger have another location to shop in Windsor.

Giant Tiger Stores Limited has opened a new location in the city on Huron Church Road near Tecumseh Road West.

"We are thrilled to be opening our fourth location here in the city and to be able to better serve our valued customers in the west side of Windsor," said store manager Taryn Riley.

The 17,500 sq. ft. store at 1745 Huron Church Road opened Saturday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The store will be open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Giant Tiger Limited and Riley also donated to the Downtown Mission.

The company is Canadian-owned and has over 260 locations across Canada. It employs more than 10,000 workers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
