Santa is coming to town on Sunday

Santa arrives in Windsor Sunday morning, not aboard a sleigh pulled by eight tiny reindeer, but by helicopter.

The Ol' Jolly Elf will land in front of Buffalo Wild Wings at Devonshire Mall at 11 a.m.

Reservations are required to get a photo with Santa inside his Winter Wonderland in front of Hudson's Bay. Devonshire Mall said while walk-up guests will be accommodated, those who book a session will get priority.

Those who book a reservation will get a phone call before their visit to confirm the date and time.

Every Wednesday, at 11 a.m. until December 14, the mall presents Story Time with Santa, while pets are welcome on November 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those with sensory challenges can visit Ol' Saint Nick on Sunday, December 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Winter Wonderland is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday between November 13 to December 11, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

From December 12 to December 23, Winter Wonderland is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. On December 24, the hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Santa arrives at Tecumseh Mall on November 19. Anyone wishing to get a photo should book their visit in advance. Walk-up guests will be accommodated where space permits.

Santa will present Story Time every Tuesday at 11 a.m. until December 20, and pet photo night is Monday, December 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sensory Santa is Sunday, December 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

At Tecumseh Mall, Santa will be available Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On December 24, he is available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
