Charges laid in historical sexual assault

A 31-year-old Windsor man is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a minor.

On Wednesday, the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit received a report about an historical sexual assault.

The offenses reported took place between January and May 2016 when the victim was 15-years-old.

After an investigation, police charged Riley Jorden Out with sexual assault, sexual exploitation of a young person, and sexual interference of a young person.

The charges have not been proven in court.

Police are not releasing any further details to protect the identity of the victim.
