Somebody in Windsor may be sitting on a $100,000 winning ticket.
Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) said Thursday morning that three Encore second prize winners, worth $100,000 each, were sold following Wednesday night's draw. One was sold in Windsor.
The other two were sold in Burlington and Mississauga.
Encore is a bonus game activated when the player bets an additional dollar on many OLG games. The object is to match all seven digits drawn in sequence for a top prize of $1-million. The second prize of $100,000 is for the last six digits matched. A player can win a $2 prize just for matching the last digit.
OLG also reported that a $5-million Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw ticket for Wednesday was sold in Woodbridge. A second prize of $118,002.40 was bought in Kawartha Lakes.
