UPDATE: Windsor police arrest suspect in bank fraud

A 54-year-old LaSalle man faces charges after he allegedly used a bank card that had been accidentally left behind in an automated teller machine by another customer.

The suspect was arrested at the Windsor Police Headquarters after he turned himself over to officers on Monday.

Investigators released photos of the suspect taken at a bank on Dougall Avenue near Cabana Street West.  They said $400 was taken from the victim's account.

The man is charged with fraud under $5,000, theft under $5,000, use of a credit card obtained through an offense, and unauthorized use of a credit card.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
