One arrested, another at large in aggravated assault investigation

Windsor police have arrested one suspect and are searching for another after a man was beaten in downtown Windsor.

Police were called to Glengarry Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Monday. After reviewing surveillance footage, officers determined two people cornered the victim and struck him several times. They then chased the victim into the building where they stole his backpack.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

Investigators identified two suspects. A 31-year-old woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and robbery with an offensive weapon.

An arrest warrant was issued for 28-year-old Teanna Logan. She is also facing charges of aggravated assault and robbery with an offensive weapon. She is described as a white woman, approximately 5’9” tall, with a medium build and dyed long red hair.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
