Road reopens after semi truck rolls over at Ambassador Bridge

Emergency crews spent much of Sunday morning cleaning up after a collision at the northbound entrance to Ambassador Bridge.

The crash happened around 8 a.m., according to a tweet from the Windsor Police Service. At the time, one lane remained open to traffic.

Several witnesses said a transport truck had rolled over and crews were working to clean up the debris.

Later that afternoon, police alerted the public via Twitter that northbound lanes were fully shut down at Huron Church Road and College Avenue. The closure lasted about an hour and the area was once again open to traffic around 2 p.m.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
