Stellantis names new head of operations in Canada

Stellantis North America has named a new lead of Canadian operations.

Jason Stoicevich will take over the role from David Buckingham, who announced his intention to retire at the end of May.

Stoicevich first joined Stellantis in 2002. He has held a series of positions with the company, including vice president- FIAT brand and Director of the Southwest (Dallas) Business Centre.

“Jason is joining the Canadian team at a pivotal moment in our history,” said Mark Stewart, the North America Chief Operating Officer. “I believe his combination of work experience and leadership skills will be a tremendous asset as we prepare for an electric future.”

Buckingham has been with the company for 35 years.

“The company is incredibly grateful for Dave’s many contributions, including his leadership in helping secure multiple long-term investments in Canada that will benefit generations of employees. I personally wish he and his wife Amy only the best in the future,” said Stewart.

Stoicevich will take over the role immediately.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
