UPDATE: Four displaced after blaze on city's east end

Four people have been displaced after an accidental house fire on Windsor's east end.

Luckily, there were no injuries reported.

Crews were called to the blaze on Lonsdale Crescent just after 9:40 a.m. on Saturday.

Officials said the fire was under control and that crews were conducting ventilation and overhaul.

The fire was out just before 11 a.m.

Later that day, Windsor Fire & Rescue confirmed that the cause was accidental.

Damages were estimated at $80,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
