Leamington man wins lottery, will have to wait to claim cash

A Leamington man will have to wait until next month to pick up his $35,000 prize after playing Instant Diamond Dazzler.

Inderjeet Kaur's daughter works at an authorized OLG retailer, so his claim will undergo an enhanced review and validation.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation conducts reviews for all wins considered Insider Wins of more than $10,000.

Kaur bought his ticket at Busy Bee Convenience on Tecumseh Road West in Windsor.

His win must be published for 30 days to ensure no one else claims the winning ticket. If there are none, Kaur can pick up his prize on March 17.
