Market Square closing vendor area at the end of March

The owner of Market Square has announced the upcoming closure of the market vending area.

Located on the corner of Walker Road and Ottawa Street Market Square has been open since May 1997.

Currently, there are only six vendors in the market area on the first floor of the building. All were informed the market will close at the end of March.

When it first opened, the market hosted over 50 vendors and had more than 30,000 weekly shoppers.

The Harvest Table Restaurant at the front of the Market Square complex will stay open.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
