Windsor Fire and Rescue Crews respond to west-end fire

Windsor fire crews responded to a blaze on College Avenue Monday afternoon.

The fire around Randolph Avenue was reported around 3:30 p.m. Crews had it under control by around 4:30 p.m.

Fire officials say two firefighters sustained minor injuries while responding. Several people have been displaced as a result.

The cause of the blaze has been deemed "accidental" and damage is estimated at around $250,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
