Crash closes part of County Road 18 in Kingsville

Provincial police in Essex County are investigating a crash in Kingsville that happened Tuesday evening.

Shortly after 7 p.m., members of the West Region Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) tweeted that officers have initiated a road closure due to a crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle at the intersection of County Road 18 and County Road 34.

County Road 18 is closed to east and west traffic between Graham Road and County Road 31. North and south traffic on County Road 34 is closed between Olinda Side Road and Highway 3.

Just before 9:30 p.m., police confirmed the area had been reopened.

No other details about the crash have been provided. Possible injuries are unknown at this time.
