Not sure how at risk your home is for flooding?

The City of Windsor has entered a new partnership so residents can find out just how at risk their homes are for flooding.

AET Group will operate the new Home Flood Protection Program. It includes a visual inspection and assessment to identify where water is coming in. The report is confidential. It uses a colour-coded guide so homeowners can see what areas are at high-risk.

Under a pilot project, 100 homeowners will be offered the service on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The city is subsidizing the cost, but residents would have to pay a $200 security deposit. The deposit will be refunded after the inspection.

Interested homeowners can register online with AET Group or call 1-877-876-9235.
