Suspect arrested in Windsor mosque break-and-enter

Windsor police say a man suspected of breaking into a mosque has turned himself in.

Police say the suspect broke into a locked room at the east Windsor mosque and stole multiple hand tools.

An image of the suspect was caught on surveillance cameras. Police released the image over the weekend and asked the public to take a look.

Windsor police tweeted Monday that a 41-year-old man had surrendered.

"He has been charged with theft under $5,000," read the tweet. "Thank you for helping us spread the word."

The charge has not been proven in court.
