Five people taken to hospital after collision

Five people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Tecumseh Road near Jefferson Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before noon in the eastbound lanes.  The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

All of the people taken to the hospital had severe, life-threatening injuries.

Members of the Windsor Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit are investigating the collision. Investigators are asking anyone in the area around 11:50 a.m. to check their dash cameras for footage of the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
