Pelee Islander II sets sail Friday

The MV Pelee Islander II will resume ferry service to Pelee Island on May 12, about one week sooner than anticipated.

A technical problem was detected while the ferry was at the drydock and the return was delayed. It was initially scheduled to return on May 18.

The Pelee Islander II will leave Leamington at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Work continues to schedule sailings to Sandusky, Ohio. The schedule will be posted as soon as it is finalized.
